Can you attribute the click-throughs from Mobile Apps in Google Analytics - even if you use a Google UTM URL?

No, it is not possible to attribute Mobile Apps in Google Analytics, even when using a Google UTM URL.

Should I send a report every week or wait for the Final report?

It is important to monitor the performance of the campaign on a weekly basis, particularly for GoRetarget Campaigns. Depending on what you have agreed with the customer is down to whether or not you send them weekly reports.

It is crucial to send the final report to the customer as this is the “end product” of the GoTarget campaign they have purchased.

How do I view my customers’ Google Analytics?

It is important for the customer to grant you access to their Google Analytics before their campaign is due to go live.  Doing so allows you to see the status quo pre-campaign, and have a comparison to draw upon post-campaign.

Here is a quick guide you can forward onto your customer:

  1. Sign into your Google Analytics account
  2. Select the Admin tab and navigate to the desired Account (website)
  3. When the desired Account is selected click User Management.
  4. Under Add permissions for, enter the Sales person’s Google email account
  5. Select Read & Analyze
  6. Select “Notify this user by email” to send an email notification informing the Sales person you have granted them access
  7. Click Add

Where do I view the GoTarget referral traffic in Google Analytics?

Click on Acquisition and select All Campaigns under Campaigns.

You’ll be able to see the Campaign under the Campaign section. If you are having difficulty viewing this you can change the Primary Dimension to Source/Medium and look for Archant/GoTarget

Can it track conversions on more than 1 page

Yes we can. However, we advise against it.

How do I know if I have been sent the pixel for my campaign?

After you make the booking on OBA2 requesting a pixel, a notification is sent to Simpli.Fi. Simpli.Fi will then email this pixel directly to you within 48 hours of this request (72 hours if it’s over the weekend). Please note Simpli.Fi is based in Texas, USA.
Once you receive this pixel it is important you forward it onto your customer immediately.
