Specification for GORETARGET (GORETA)

To maintain a consistent style and to remain inline with industry recommendations we would strongly suggest keeping all targeted ads static and they cannot contain video.

Here is a list of ad formats required for jobs with the GORETA Classification Code (ad formats are the same for GOTARG).

300px wide x 250px high MPU
Max file size: 40KB

160px wide x 600px high Wide Sky
Max file size: 40KB

728px wide x 90px high Leaderboard
Max file size: 40KB

300px wide x 50px high Mobile Browsers
Max file size: 40KB

320px wide x 50px high Mobile App
Max file size: 40KB

File type: jpg, gif or png

Why do these ads need to be static?

File Size

Consistency of message is vital and it is impossible to make all ad formats animated and stay under the strict file size limit.

Better Response

Industry research shows that targeted ads get a better response when static

Simple Message

Targeted ads need to have a clear and simple message. If your message needs animation it is probably too complicated

Not Necessary

Targeted ads are being served to people who are already interested in the product. They don’t need animation to gain attention, but they do need a clear strong message
